Apple One and Apple TV Prices Increase by Up to 20%

Apple announced a price increase for its Apple TV+ streaming service, with the annual subscription receiving the steepest rise among its plans. Effective July 1, the yearly fee will climb from $59.99 to $69.99, while the monthly subscription remains at $6.99. The adjustment represents a roughly 17 percent increase for the annual option, marking the most significant bump in the service’s pricing history since its launch in 2019.

Apple said the change reflects continued investment in original programming and the expansion of its content library, which now includes over 500 titles across drama, documentary, and family genres. The move aligns Apple TV+ with pricing trends in the streaming market, where competitors such as Netflix and Disney+ have also raised rates in recent months. Analysts note that the higher annual cost may encourage more users to opt for the monthly plan or to take advantage of promotional bundles that pair Apple TV+ with other Apple services. The price revision is expected to take effect for both new and renewing subscribers on the specified date.
