Adilet Party Leads Early Exit Polls in Kazakhstan Parliamentary Election

Kazakhstan’s newly formed governing party, Adilet, has surged ahead in early exit polls for the country’s snap parliamentary election, securing more than 70 percent of the vote. The poll, conducted as voters left the polls, suggests the party could capture roughly 105 of the 145 seats in the unicameral legislature that will be formed after the election.

If the projections hold, Adilet would command a decisive majority in the new chamber, giving it the capacity to shape legislative priorities and oversee the government’s agenda. The early election, called to replace the previous assembly, marks a significant transition in Kazakhstan’s political landscape, with the incoming parliament expected to convene later this year.
